Cash Transactions Support for CloudPOS

This update introduces an additional payment option for merchants using CloudPOS, allowing them to accept cash transactions through the Pay Now section. With this enhancement, merchants can now offer greater flexibility to their customers by accommodating cash payments alongside existing payment methods. This option is enabled by default for CloudPOS merchants.

How to Enable/Disable:

• Login to the iPOSpays portal using an ISO account.

• Go to S.T.E.A.M -> Edit Parameters.

• Search and select the TPN for which you want to enable this option.

• Click Edit Parameters -> Transaction -> Under Card Type, enable/disable Cash.

• Click Save for the changes to take effect.

How to Use:

• Login to the iPOSpays portal using a merchant account.

• Go to CloudPOS -> Payments.

• Select a TPN for which you wish to process the transaction from the drop-down menu.

• Select Pay Now as the payment

• Enter the transaction amount in its respective field. Choose Cash as the payment method.

• Enter the customer’s contact information.

• Enter the cash amount the customer provided. If the amount is higher than the transaction amount, the balance amount owed to the customer will be automatically updated in the Change field.

• Click Process to complete the transaction.

• Once the transaction is complete, go to the Transactions module. Use the Alternative Payments filter to identify the cash transaction if you process multiple transactions.
