Configurable Merchant VAT Registration Number

The VAT Registration Number is a Level 3 data field, required for Level 2 & Level 3 payment processing, which helps merchants qualify for lower interchange fees. Previously, merchants processing Level 3 transactions with TSYS were automatically assigned a default VAT registration number. With this update, ISOs can now configure the Merchant VAT Registration number under the Edit Store section of the iPOSpays portal. A maximum of 20 characters are allowed. This enables merchants to include their unique VAT Registration Number with every transaction.

How to Use:

• Login to the iPOSpays portal using an ISO account.

• Click Merchant -> Search and select the merchant using the search box.

• Under Stores, click on the merchant DBA and choose Edit Store.

• Enter the Merchant VAT Reg. NO.

• Click Save for the changes to take effect.
