State Surcharge Tax Compliance

Previously, the tax amount was added to the base and tip amount (If the tip was enabled). With this update, there is an additional option called State Surcharge Tax Compliance in the Surcharge Fee section. If enabled, the tax amount will be calculated on the base amount + tip (if enabled) + fee collected, to ensure compliance with specific state laws.

Where to Enable: From the ISO login, click on S.T.E.A.M, then Edit Parameters -> Search and select the TPN in the search box -> Edit Parameter -> Fee -> Surcharge -> Enable State Surcharge Tax Compliance
