Treat Debit Card as Cash for CloudPOS

We’re excited to announce an enhancement to the dual pricing feature on CloudPOS. Previously, merchants could implement Dual Pricing for credit card transactions, allowing customers to choose between cash and card pricing. However, we’re now extending this functionality to include debit card transactions as well. This means that customers using debit cards can also benefit from Dual Pricing, providing greater flexibility and convenience for merchants and customers.

By encouraging customers to use debit cards for transactions, merchants can reduce transaction costs associated with credit card processing fees. This can result in significant savings over time, benefiting the bottom line.

Where to Enable: From the ISO login, go to S.T.E.A.M, then edit parameters -> Search and select the TPN -> Edit Parameter -> Fee -> Dual Pricing -> Enable “Treat Debit Card as Cash.” Click Save for the changes to take effect.
