Migrate from iPOSpays
Exporting a merchant's stored customer data for migration to another payment gateway.
Overview
An ISO may request to migrate a merchant off of iPOSpays to another payment gateway, which includes exporting that merchant's stored customer data. This can include sensitive payment information — cardholder data (PAN), ACH bank account details, and associated billing information.
Because this data is sensitive, iPOSpays will only process the export after the ISO's authorization, security, and compliance requirements below have been verified.
Export Requirements
- Sign the migration agreement — contact your RM to complete and sign the Dejavoo/iPOSpays Data Export/Migration Agreement.
- Verify PCI compliance — send the receiving provider's PCI AOC/COC certificate for verification.
- Provide encryption + contact details — once your RM approves the above, send the following so the data can be encrypted for transfer:
| Item | Details to Provide |
|---|---|
| Receiving provider's PGP key | Used to encrypt the exported data. New to PGP? See gnupg.org. |
| Name of processor | The receiving payment gateway/processor. |
| Point of contact | Name of the person who will receive the data. |
| Title / position | Role of the point of contact. |
| Email address | Where the encrypted export will be sent. |
- List the merchants to migrate — send the list of merchant(s) or TPN(s) you want migrated.
What Happens Next
Once all of the above is received and verified, iPOSpays sends the merchant's customer data to the point of contact you provided, encrypted with the PGP key supplied.
